Antonia
Lately I've been really liking this name. It's rarely heard, but has a very nice, light sound. I had a great grandmother named Antonina nn Toni, so it's connected. So WDYT?

This post might be a little bit late. Anyways I like the name Antonia but I LOVE the nickname Toni! My cousin's name is Antonio and if he was going to be a girl, his parents were going to name him Antonia!

I like it. Funny story though. When me and my neice were little we had these two cabbage patch dolls that were similar. Her doll's name was Antonia Shelby, so that's why that name works for me. It sounds normal and familiar. lol.

Antonia is lovely! I really like it, along with Antonella and Antonetta. (I think I prefer those two, partly for the nicknames Tonella and Tonetta, but Antonia is gorgeous, too.)Array

I actually think it was quite a hard sound - it's the "TOAN" bit (an-TOAN-ee-a) that is unattractive to my ears. I far prefer Antony for a boy. But I like Antonia well enough on someone else's child ... it's classic and unusual.

I like Antonia. I don't think I'd ever actually consider it but it's one of those names I think are nice for other people.Antonia could go by Toni, Annie, Anna, Nia, etc... So plenty of options.

I love this name, one of my good friends is named Toni, which I believe is short for Antonia. My prefered nn is Tonia / Tonya. I also like Antonina alot as a possible longer form of one of my faves, Nina. I also like Antoinette and Antonella. For a boy I also like Anthony, Antonio, Antoine, Antonin and my absolute fave form, Anton!

I think it's very pretty :-) I like it on its own though, without a nn.

I've always liked it. It's very pretty as a formal name and the NN Toni is cute for a little girl.

I like Antonia but not Toni. If I had to use a nn for Antonia I would choose Annie.

I don't care for it. But, since it's a family name, I'd suggest using it as the middle name.
