Middle names for Karl?
What are some good middle names for Karl?My surname is italian, (DiG...) but i am closer to my swedish roots. Italian tradition would have his first name the same as his grandfather, Paul, but Karl Paul would sound strange. Yes? My great-grandfather who was first to arrive to America, was named Paolo which I am considering as the middle name, (Karl Paolo) but I am not stuck on tradition and need more ideas! Thanks!

What about Karl Georg? (My Czech-born grandfather is Paul Georg which is what made me think of it). Karl Johan / Johann / Johannes, or Karl William / Wilhelm would also sound very nice.:-)

I don't like Karl Paul, but the tradition is nice. Paola sounds like Paul. I think Karl Paolo is nice.

I really like the name Karl, and while I like Paul, and I think it's great to use naming traditions, Karl Paul doesn't work. Karlton Paul does, though. Karl Paolo doesn't work, either. As for other names, you could use other P middle names, to honor Paul. I suggest Karl Patrick.
