for some reason i just dont like names like jayden, jaylyn and such, i dont know why, i just dont. as for elle i like it its very nice
Elle w/ the nn Ellie would work, but Jayden is just too trendy.
:)

Jayden is so over, Elle would never be said correctly
I would just spell it Ellie and not confuse anyone. I also don't like Unisex names.

Like Elle, but Jayden's horrible
Elle sounds sweet but not syrupy, feminine, and isn't overused. It's more popular now, but isn't trendy per se, and I think I will age well.
The only thing is that Elle is properly pronounced EL, not EL-ee. Most people know this, and pronouncing Elle EL-ee will lead to much confusion for your child, I think. Also, imo EL-ee is a little disrespectful to the name's heritage.
However, Jayden is very trendy, very masculine, and is awfully misspelled imo. The trendiness of it will make your child the equivalent of Bertha by the time she's 50. I like Elle pronounced as EL-ee much better than Jayden, even if the pronunciation's wrong.

Jayden on either sex is so overdone that my response is just "eh, another Jaden/Jayden/Jaiden/Jadyn."
I only like Elle pronounced el.
I only like Elle pronounced el.
Elle pronounced El-not Ellie, sry its just not for me. Jayden is nice though, it could be a unisex name.
I think Jayden is pretty but I prefer Jaden or Jadin. And I like Elle alot but I think i prefer it pronounced like the letter "L".
I like Jay, and I like Jade, either for girls. But Jayden doesn't appeal to me. The adjacent y and d make it complicated to my eyes, like it's supposed to be a word for a place where many jays roost (a "jay den"). Jaden is okay, but seems masculine to me since it looks like a combo of Jay and Aiden. Jadyn looks more natural to me, and femme, if I had to choose a spelling.
Elle: Is okay. As I have said before, I don't see its personality -- it seems incomplete; it's just a little sound (even if pronounced like Ellie). The sound of "Ellie" is an informal, affectionate one to me, nicknamey and not very serious or substantial (I like full names that seem 'substantial' to me). I can see the appeal of spelling "Ellie" as Elle, but that doesn't change my impression of it as nicknamey.
Oddly, I do like the name Eily, which isn't all that different -- I guess the long vowel adds something for me.

I don't really like Jayden for either gender but I prefer it on a boy, and Elle will always be pronounced like Ell, so you may as well spell it Ellie.
IGNORE double post - sorry.
