I think it's pretty and unusual. It is the name of a famous author, Eudora Welty.

Eudora is the name......of a nearby town, whose high school competes with mine in athletics and other school-sponsered events. So, all I can think of when hearing the name is cardinals. Now, obviously, this is just my situation, so it doesn't apply to everyone. If it weren't for the town (and the email program, which I have honestly never heard of), I could probably think it was pretty. It has a lovely meaning, anyways. :o)

I think of Eudora Welty. And wasn't it the name of the grandmother on Bewitched? Besides that Eudora sounds like the name of prescription drug.

I know about the email prog ..... [m]In fact, I use it exclusively. I look at the darned name daily, and it grows on me after a while. I don't think I'd use it, but I was curious if people liked it, or if the email prog was a big deal. I guess it is, for many people. I just hardly ever see this name on the board -- which seems odd since I've seen a lot of Eu- names and their time seems to have come.. I thought it's the most attractive one. Thanks all for your replies :-) - chazda

Eudora is nms. I like it a bit better the French way (uh-doh-rah), but I still prefer Dora 10000 times. :)

I don't care for it. It's not very nice sounding, and the same goes for the spelling of it.

Not crazy about it

It would be cute, there is just one thing wrong with it for me....My friends all use a program called Eudora (spelled and pn the same way) to check emails. (In college, they use that so they dont have to go to the actually school's website.) So to me, I will always think of that.

Love it.And it would work now, especially with the Dora part.Siri

As in the email? Too heavy associations there. For some reason, most Eu- names sound dated to me. Eulalie is OK, though.Lass

Don't like it...but I've heard worse.

I think it's pretty. I think it's probably the only Greek Eu- name I like, and the only one that doesn't sound dated. I think the soft -dora element balances it out.

Meh.Not my favorite, but definitely not the worst. You online?

I love the meaning, but I'm not sure about the name, which is weird considering I love Theodora. Its definitely not bad.

All I can think of is the email program. I think if it weren't for that, I'd like it since I like Isadora and Eugenie.
