Cary?
What do you think of the name Cary for a boy? I like the sound of it, but I don't think I'd ever use it, just because there are other names I much prefer. Do you think it would be hard to pull off these days? Despite the Carys Grant and Elwes, I don't think I've ever heard the name on an boy; and in the respect of all the female Carries it probably sounds too "prissy" to most people, but what do you think?

I don't think it'd be hard to pull off for most guys. Not prissy at all; it's rugged on a guy to me. I think the famous bearers have rescued it. Besides, it sounds like the surnamey Carey. It might be inconveniently ambiguous now and then, though, when the guy was referred to aloud but his sex wasn't indicated. I guess it helps to be famous.
