Lydia, to me, is a very 'fine' sounding name -- refined sounding, but by that I don't mean stuck-up or snooty. I picture someone clever and attractive, with sharp senses and good manners. fwiw

Lydia is a lovely name. It's not popular (if that sort of thing bothers you), and it's feminine and timeless - suits any age.

I dont like the name, sorry. I think I first heard the name in the movie Beetlejuice..which I hated.

Lydia reminds me of that movie- so its a bad association. It also sounds stuffy and old.
