I don't like Ebony very much, and prefer Bryony with a y (not an i). I'd use Bryony as a fn, don't know about Ebony. :)

I like Briony but prefer it spelled Bryony. Ebony is nms, but I think it could work as a middle name.

I dont like either and would never use them.

I love Bryony (spelled that way) and would use it as a fn in a heartbeat. Ebony is ok, but I think it would be a better mn.

I personally don't like either for a first or a middle name, although Briony would be much more tolerable than Ebony.
