David
What do you think of the name David?

Don't like it especially, but had to use it for sons middle name as the name of deceased father-in-law. if you really liked it its a good name. it never sounds too trendy, out of date, or weird. i guess it is just a good classic name. too plain for my taste though.
I love the name David. but it is pretty popular so I would never use it.
I really like it
like it a lot
Really like it. I knew a man who was like a grandpa to me and he was named David, so it holds nice feelings and memories for me!
it's okay
It's not my style.
Love!!
Its classic, used less and less, and works for any age. I love it, but I have two people who have changed the name for me (very tragic & sad stories) and so I probably won't use it.
LOVE IT
Its popular, but certainly not overly used in my opinion. I love the name. I might really be bais on it though. My mom was going to name me David and my best friend in pre-school was David and the only jock in my high school who didnt do drugs was named David. All ass. are great, and I have loved the name since my mother told me it would have been my name, if a boy. If you have read A Child Called It, really sad book, but the author (its a personal story) is named David and I see a lot of strong willed Davids. Not to mention the great biblical sense, that I also adore.
It certainly is popular, but I love it. Not so much on the nn, Davy is okay as a toddler (but even than I prefer it as a nn for Davida, a girl). I love the name.

It's a very nice, strong classic, even if it is very common. I have two very good associations with it, but would probably only ever us it as a middle name, myself.

Hmmm, I think it's okay. I mean its a nice, strong, classic name, but I don't think I would ever use it. It's not one of my favorites. I would never use it because I don't particularly like the way it sounds and it is much too popular for me.
Good name, except for the fact that it is way too common for my tastes for me to ever consider using it.

It's an okay name.
My first name is David and I think it can be a nice name though too popular. I dont really like popular names. I also dont like the nn's that it has. Since about middle school I have gone by my mn Amadeus, I however always sign David since it's my name. I wouldnt use it on a child because, well its my name, if it wasnt my name I would use it as a mn if it wasnt so popular. As you can tell
I've been scared from being called David 2 or David G. or the other David most of my life.
