Dashiell (m: Cate Blanchett) - love the nn Dash, but I'd never use it
Roman (m: Cate Blanchett also m: Debra Messing --note two different babies here)- love the name, but how common will it get?
Rene (m: Celine Dion)- actually Rene Charles, its nice
James (m: Colin Farrell also m: Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker --note two different babies here)- I love how SJP & MB gave their son a cool mn and often refer to him by both (James Wilkie)
Coco (f: Courteney Cox and David Arquette) - Coco is a cats name & the mn Riley just makes it worse
Romeo (f: David and Victoria (Posh Spice) Beckham)- different
Brooklyn (m: David Beckham)- only they could get away with it
Kyd (m: Tea Leoni and David Duchovney)- his name is Kyd Miller & he goes by Miller & his sister, Madelaine West, goes by West
Dallas (m: Fred Durst)- nms
Apple (f: Gweneth Paltrow and Chris Martin)- once again, something only a celebrity could get away with
Makenna'Lei (m: Helen Hunt)- love McKenna (DH just informed me that its his Grandmather's maiden name & now I have a legitimate reason to use it ... which begs the question of why he hadn't brought it up until yesterday?)
Finley (m: Holly Marie Combs)- love Finn, but I prefer Eric McCormack's son's name, Finnegan (named after the Mr Dressup Character btw)
Oscar (m: Hugh Jackman)- I've always been torn by this name
Tallulah (f: Jessie Wallace)- like it, but I'd never use it
Liv (f Julianne Moore)- Live Helene is so cute (& better than the over used Olivia) & goes with her son's name Cal (short for Caleb I think)
Lilly (f: Kate Beckinsale)- prefer Lily, but its still cute
Ryder (m: Kate Hudson)- the reason behind the name makes it better (Dad Chris Robinson wrote a song by the same name in tribute to the Grateful Dead's similar "ride" named song)
Joe (m: Kate Winslet) - short & sweet just like her daugther's name, Mia
Natalia (f: Kobe Bryant)- hate Natalia & Natasha, but I love Natalie
Rocco (m: Madonna)- nmsaa (although I used to like it)
Lourdes (f: Madonna)- with a nn like Lola & Madonna for a mother, this kid will be entertaining
Marina (f: Matt LeBlanc)- nice (stepkids are Jacquelyn and Tyler)
Edgar (m: Melissa Rivers) - goes by Cooper & both names mean something (E - her Dad who committed suicide & C - was her gm's maiden name)
Deva (f: Monica Bellucci) - nms, but interesting
Cross (m: Big Boi -from Outkast-) - ???
Beatrice (f: Paul McCartney and Heather Mills)- love the nn Bea
Deacon (m: Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe)- love the name & their daughter's as well, Ava Elizabeth
Charles (m: Russell Crowe and Danielle Spencer) - very traditional, I predicted that their son would be a William or a Charles & I was right (suits them)
Daniel (m: Solange Knowles)- boring
Willow (Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith)- well all Will's kids' names are after their parents, Willard Smith III is known as Trey (first marriage) & his kids with Jada are Jaden & Willow (at least no one will feel left out in the honouring department, which I think is fair)
Overall, my favourites are Deacon & Ava, Liv & Cal, and Finnegan
