Perse's mention of the poem when I posted about Elaina reminded by that I used to like Shalott (sha-LOT) itself as a girls' name. What do you think? Is it too out there / arty? Should it just be a middle name? Because of the second syllable stress, I think it shoulds quite good as a middle name sound-wise anyway ... How are these combinations?Layla Shalott

Esmée Shalott (EZ-may)
Morgan Shalott (too much Arthurian background for one name, I suspect)
Charmian Shalott (KAR-mee-an)
Amélie Shalott (am-ay-lee)
Emony Shalott (Emony = medieval name)
