This is my daughter Eloise Mary-Catherine.
You say: How interesting. I always loved the Eloise books.
You think: But they never really mixed well with SNL characters. If I see "Mary-Catherine", all I can think is "Gallagher".
This is my son Percy Edward.
You say: Oh, lovely! Shelley's my favourite poet.
You think: Percy Edgar would be brilliant, but this will do.
This is my son Oliver George. We call him Ollie (assuming that he's young).
You say: How nice! Ollie is such a cute nickname.
You think: Makes me think of the Herdmanns from The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. I always liked them.
