I love it, but not for a child. (My dog's name is scout)
Although, for someone else's child i wouldnt mind it.

After that effort, i think it's pretty clear i like it better as a middle name.
Maude as a middle name i could do. Not as a First name. It's not my style per se, but if it were to honour an aunt or grandmother (for example) then sure.
