Last night my boyfriend and I had one of our marathon conversations, which he talked about one of his most passionate topics: philosophy. He mentioned one guy,
Immanuel Kant, who had the two theroies he really likes. I said we could name our kid
Immanuel sort of after him (trying anything to get away from
Lucas and
Miles). His face wasnt a yes or no, so I added I knew a kid in high school named
Emmanuel nn
Manny. He was very small, but friends with the football guys, and what started out as a joke one day became his new nn for the group: The Man. He kind of liked it and warmed up to the idea.
Anyway...during our discussion, we said he would need a VERY short (one syllable only) mn because its so long and so is his surname. He thought of
Immanuel James. I really like
James and would love to use it.
WDYT of
Immanuel?
Immanuel James? Any other one syllable mn you can think of?
(Note:
Emmanuel is not an option. I would prefer it, but he said he wouldnt have it with an E - and I am willing to let it slide so I can use it)
Also:
Linus Jonathan has been on my mind a lot recently. WDYT (of the combo, I love the names and nothing said will change my mind on them individually)
