[Opinions] I like it very much.

I'd hesitate from using it myself because I'm atheist and it does carry a strong biblical association, but I like it very much as a name. I don't necessarily like it less because of its associations (biblical, presidential, or otherwise), but would just prefer to not use it for my own hypothetical kid. I could definitely see it on a child nowadays and would probably be quite tickled if I actually did. :-)Abraham Joshua is too biblical for me, but I wouldn't think anything negative of it to hear it on someone else's kid. I love the name Bram and think it would make a great nickname. On a similar note I also like Abram quite a bit. Even though it's still biblical (apparently it's just Abraham's prior name), the sound seems maybe more updated or modern to me. *shrug* Of course it's still ancient, but maybe being shorter makes it a little snappier.
