I have recently posted on message on here with some names that I like but since I was told Alessa and Elise sound to similar to use I have to get rid of one of the names. But I love both names so its a hard decision will you please help me. Which name is prettier?
Alessa or Elise which would you choose to keep. Thanks so much :)

Also the name would go in the sibling set with the name Talia if that helps. Thanks :)

I like Elise much better, mostly because I really don't like the spelling of Alessa. I would spell it Alyssa. Elise sounds better with Talia, too

On their own, I prefer Elise of Alessa, but as a sister to Talia, I think Alessa goes better. That being said, since the children will be their own people more than they'll be thought of as the other's sibling, I'd take Elise because I like it better.

Both are nice but I prefer Elise. Talia and Elise make a lovely sister set.

Alessa sounds like a slurred Alexa or Alexia to me.

I prefer Alessa. Elise just seems boring to me. I think Alessa would go more with Talia than Elise because they both seem kinda spunky imo.

Definitely Elise. It's softer and a lot more elegant than Alessa. Plus it goes very well with Talia.

I prefer Elise to Alessa.

I think both names are very nice, though Alessa reminds me of Alessia, a character from a video game my brother played incessantly, and it's too close for my liking. A stupid reason, yes, but reason enough. :)

I really like Elise - it's romantic and derived from Elizabeth.
An Alessa would always be having to spell her name for people.
Have you considered Elissa? I like that because although it seems to be a form of Elizabeth it was the alternative name of Dido in Greek mythology. In my opinion it's especially pretty when pronounced with the long E like the Greek mythology names were intended to be.
