I know Michael is considered by most to be a boys' name, but I'm just curious what everyone thinks of it as a girls' name.
I can think of two actresses with the name Michael--Michael Learned, who played Olivia Walton on the 1970s CBS drama "The Waltons", and Michael Michele, who played a doctor on NBC's drama "ER".
I'm not entirely sure what I think of it as a girls' name. I've always liked it as a boys' name, though I wouldn't use it, since I have a cousin named Michael. It's grown on me a lot for a girl, especially since I'm a fan of Michael Learned, but I don't think I'd use it because of its association as a boys' name. WDYT?
