I don't know if you know this, but the city Boston in the States was named after a small market town in Lincolnshire, England. This town now bears the dubious honour of being the "fattest" town in the UK. It also has very high rates of drug use, particularly heroin and teenage pregnancy. It is one of the most deprived postcodes (zip codes) in the country. I know this because I lived there.

I couldn't name a child Boston because of the above. Maybe where you live people will not think of these things, but I thought I should tell you what Boston brings to mind for me.
