I've never seen it spelled Charolette; I prefer the original spelling Charlotte.
It's been gaining in popularity for a while, so I don't know how much of a difference the movie will make. I think it's pretty, and I liked it for a while. Then it became a revival name (as I call the older style names that are once again popular, e.g., Emma, Emily, Olivia, Ava, Matilda, etc.), and that killed it for me.
