[Opinions] Thomasin and Others
I've just started to read Return of the Native and have taken a liking to Thomasin though im not too keen on the nickname Tamsin perhaps just Tam? I'm quite suprised Thomasin isn't in the database actually.
Also other suggestions to go with my favourite combos:
Arthur Edmund - Arthur after my Dad, Edmund simply because I love the name and it was Jane Austen's favourite name too. I also like the character Edmund from the chronicles of Narnia. Nickname Art or Artie.
Henry Russell - Nickname Harry probably as I'm not to keen on Hal, any other suggestions welcome though. Henry honours someone though I'm not too sure on Russell either.
Evelyn Maeve - Simply just love this name.
Lydia Caroline - Again I'm not sure on the middle name Caroline though it does honour someone. Nicknames for Lydia?
Other random names I'm considering are:
Walter - nickname Walt perhaps. Walter was my Grandfather's middle name and my Great Grandfather's first name. Is it too like the character in lost?
Garnet - Just like this at the moment however it does remind of a character from a Jacqueline Wilson book which isn't too good.
TIA

Thomasin is gorgeous, as is Tamsin (which I prefer because I think sounds spunkier). I think Tam or Thom would be neat nicknames. Thom on a girl would be pretty awesome, actually.
Arthur Edmund - lovely, a little too stuffy for me, but very handsome
Henry Russell - the repeated R's don't flow all that well, but it's a terribly handsome combo
Evelyn Maeve - very nice
Lydia Caroline - sounds a bit inconsequential to my ear...a little too common. Lydia doesn't really do anything for me. I would not use a nickname for it, I dislike Liddy even more.
Walter nn Walt = awesome! One of my favorites. Wally is also growing on me.
Garnet = gorgeous. I'd love to see this used as a mn or as a fn.

Though it's not something I'd use, I think it would be nice for someone else. Tam would be a good NN, but I strongly dislike Tami. I do like Tamsin, though. I do think it goes well with your combos.
