Dear Sims Family,
We have found six children that we believe will fit right in with your family. Their names are Bibiana Milagros Elodia and Eligio Seve, from Guatemala; Fihr Ala Hafeez from Saudi Arabia; and Nomiki Thomas, Sofia Efthalia, and Alexandros Yianni, from Greece. The kids are all very anxious to be part of a family, since most of them have been orphaned for a long time.
Bibiana (age 16) and her son Eligio (4 months) are from a poor village in Guatemala. When Bibiana's parents found out that she was going to have a baby, they disowned her. Bibiana was put into a women's home until she gave birth to Eligio. Now she is ready to put the past behind her and start a new life with a new family. Bibiana had eight younger siblings and four older ones, so she is no stranger to large families. She is good at keeping the peace between siblings. Bibiana has no formal schooling, but would like it if you would help her get a job possibly watching children. Eligio is an adorable little boy, still very dependent on Bibiana.
Fihr is an eleven year old boy from Saudi Arabia. He and his parents were vacationing in the Middle East when a roadside bomb killed his parents and left Fihr with severe burns. Although the burns have now healed, Fihr struggles with depression and grief due to the sudden deaths of his parents. Fihr would like to live a normal life. He knows some English, and will gladly learn more. To help Fihr deal with his depression, the orphanage gave him a Pharaoh Hound, whom he named Rafiqa.
Nomiki and Sofia are fifteen year old twins from Greece. Alexandros is Sofia's son. Nomiki and Sofia don't remember their parents, and they share a special bond with each other. Nomiki acts as a father to Alexandros, who is the result of an unfortunate incident in the streets of Greece. Nomiki is very protective of Sofia and Alex, and he would do anything for them. Sofia is still very wary of men and a little afraid. However, she is a good mother to Alex, and wants to see him succeed. Alex is almost nine months old now. He is crawling everywhere and is difficult to keep out of mischief.

We decided to send Bibiana to a nearby school for kids just like her- teen parents. We put her in a program for kids from other countries. She is enjoying it and a very quick learner, and will be put into a regular 9th grade class soon (even though the other 16 year olds are in 10th and 11th grade). She quickly made friends with other girls and boys from other Spanish speaking countries. Bibiana and Abigail have become very close, and Eligio and Basma's son Fihr and Alexandros have become friends. Bibiana, Abigail nad Basma all go to the same school.
When Fihr met the rest of the family he was happy to be with other kids around his age, who are all about helping him (and of course the others too). Terry and Koray are glued to his side. Fihr is in the same school as the rest of the kids, but is in some ESOL (English as a second language) classes.
Nomiki and Sofia are also doing well. Sofie is attending school with Bibi, although they are not at the same level quite yet, as Sofia already had education in the past, but only didnt know English.
