Maybe he--perish the thought--likes those names. Maybe he has older male relatives he wanted to honour. Maybe he likes the work of Frank Lloyd Wright.

And maybe those names aren't actually all that weird. I can think of several famous by each of those (save Lorcan).

I don't think they're weird

Dexter, Lorcan, and Harlan are unusual, but not weird, and the rest of the names are completely normal.
