[Opinions] Silver
I've always thought Silver would be a pretty cool first name for a boy, but I myself don't know if I'd use it myself just because it's such a common word/color, you know? Do you think it would be an acceptable name for a boy? If I were to use it, should I just stick with it for a middle name? Personally, I don't think it's too "out there", but I'd like some other opinions. Thanks :)

I think of the Silver Skeeter when I hear it. You know--Skeeter's super-hero alter-ego on Doug? Doug was Quail Man, and Skeeter was the Silver Skeeter.
...I really miss Doug.
Anyway, I certainly think it could work. I wouldn't use it on a child, but I'd like to meet a little Silver. Give him a slightly more mainstream mn to fall back on, and make sure the fn-ln combination is okay (no Silver Smiths, please?), and I don't see too much wrong with it.

Silver is one of those names I'm kind of on the fence about. I think it could work as a first name, and people would certainly get used to it, just like Violet or Scarlett or "Red". Thinking about it, it wouldn't be too bad at all in the first name slot. But, I think I'd stick it in the middle name spot. I could see a child not wanting to introduce himself as "Silver Jones."
Just don't name his brother Sterling ;)

Lol...
Don't worry, Sterling won't be coming onto my list any time soon =P
