One of my girl favorites is Rowena, with the pronunciation ro-WEN-na. I've never actually heard of anyone with this name, though a girl I used to go to school with was named Rowina, pronounced ro-WEE-na.
Anyway, I was just reading some of the comments on the name and one of them says that Rowena is a character in Harry Potter. I'm not into Harry Potter, so I wasn't aware there was a character by this name. What I'm wondering is, is this name highly associated with the Harry Potter series? You know, like if you heard the name Ariel, the first thing you might think of is The Little Mermaid. Does that apply to Rowena and Harry Potter for you?
Also, WDYTO the combo Rowena Millie? (Remember I only like it pronounced ro-WEN-na.) Rowena I like just because and Millie means a lot to me. Well, actually a longer version of it, you know, like Millicent or Camilla, but it's not either of those. What is your opinion on the names and the combo as a whole? Does they fit as a combo, does it sound good, is it a nice combo, or is it ugly, etc?
I think that's all I wanted to ask.
Thanks in advance!
