I think it's a pretty name. I have friend named Deanna she is the only one I know.

I like it, but I wouldn't use it. I only know one girl my age named Deanna.

I don't know any at the moment. I like the name a lot, though. It strikes me as retro-trashy-chic, like Marilyn. Possibly I'm influenced by the Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds song "Deanna."

I've met one or two Deannas but it was back in the 1980s. I had a boss a few years back whose name was spelled Deanna but it was pronounced DEE-nah. Confusing. I don't care for Deanna much at all; seems dated to me.

It sounds very Southern to me, but since I come from Scotland and have never been to the Southern USA, I'd take that with a pinch of salt! I think the sound is quite attractive. It's more down-to-earth than Diana, which has been a bit spoilt for me by the ongoing media obsession in this country with Princess Di.

It's pretty. The youngest one I know of is 15 and I thought it was very unusual for her time when she was born. It seems to be an older name.
