[Opinions] Rio & Vienna

A friend of mine recently had twin girls and named them Rio and Vienna (you'd never guess by the message title lol)I was just wondering what you guys think and any mns you'd suggest.Personally I think Rio's better suited to a boy but it does flow well with most mnsVienna I've never heard as a name before but I absolutley adore it

I'm a big Duran Duran fan but still can't see a girl in real life having Rio as a real name.

I used to know a little girl named Rio and I really, really loved the name on her. Also there's the Duran Duran song about a girl named Rio. It's a name that's been on boy my boy's *and* girl's list for years. I think it's really nice.Vienna just makes me think of party sausages. I don't like it at all. (I don't know why sausages and not the city, as I've been there and LOVED it. But sausages always come to mind first somehow.) The similar name I do like for a girl is Venice.

Wow, that takes me back. When I was younger I used to love the names Rio and Vienna (but I, like you, prefer Rio on a boy). I still think they're nice enough, especially Vienna, but I don't like Rio as a name anymore because of the Kia Rio, which is all I think of when I hear the name now.
