I love Flora, but I doubt I'll ever use it because (being a nurse) it brings to mind bacterial flora, and seems like it would possibly be teased. I don't think the "theme" using Rowan/Flora or Rowan/Laurel is overly cutesy, it's just subtle enough. Not like using Lily & Daisy for sisters, for example. However, Rowan is unisex and more modern sounding for a girl while Flora is very feminine and old-fashioned, so the two don't 'match' terribly well, imo. But Rowan and Laurel are fine, since Laurel isn't as "feminine" sounding as Flora. Does that make sense?
