And I like the name. It's a pity it's lumped into the kre8iv names category--not unsurprising, it does look and sound like a made up, kre8iv name--when it's actually the Hawaiian form of Diana. And Diana's one of the most classical, timeless names I can think of.

AW rhymes with the sound the 'o' makes in the word 'on'. Some people say that as 'ah', but I say 'ah' as the sound the 'a' makes in the word 'apple'. :)

p.s. And if you ask somebody from Australia or Britain, they will say kee-ARN-a because they pron. car like we say 'caw' in the States. :) Therefore, when they want to write the pron. for a word that sounds like 'aw' in the States, they write 'ar' instead. :)
