I knew a little girl by this name, it was short for Bridget, which I found out later. So this name has a soft spot in my heart. While it has a soft spot, I still wouldn't use it on my own children, but I suppose that it is fine on someone elses.

I ADORE IT! My favorite combo right now for it is Bridie Victoria. It's so adorable! I prefer it as a nn for Bridget.
