[Opinions] Nina
What names can you see Nina being a nickname for, even if it would be sort of a stretch? I really like Nina, but it doesn't seem like quite enough by itself.

My baby sister is called Nina. Her middle name is Mae and her name suits her so perfectly.

My sister is called Kristina and she goes by Nina. I think anythign ending in "ina" would work, by those standards. Christina, Angelina, Marina, Bettina etc etc.
