Why would you need a nickname? The name is short enough as it is.

I wouldn't, personally, bother with a nn for Mary--it's quite short by itself.

Mary need a NN? It's a two syllable name made of four letters; I think you're stretching! But anyway, Mimi and Mitzie would be kind of cute. Mitzie is traditionally used for Marie, but close enough.
