I really, really dislike the male name Alan, but I find I love the name Alana. That is my favorite way to spell it, also - I'm not too enamored of Alannah or any of the other variations, although they are nice enough, I prefer just Alana.
Do you like the name? Any combo ideas? Also, what would be some good names to match it in a sibset? I know a beautiful girl named Alana whose little brother is Liam and I think that's cute.
