Cynthia seems a bit more attractive and substantial to me. It's less "in vogue" too, so it'd be more memorable. I like Celia, though, as well; it's friendlir. And I don't believe you could manage to have a Cynthia go by Thia. It's too artificial. - mirfak
Just wondering about what you mean by artificial...do you mean it's a stretch to get Thia from Cynthia? I love the nn Thea, but dislike Theodora or Dorothea. I thought Cynthia would be a great way to get a nn I find adorable, but give a nice, substantial name for an adult.
