I like it more than Oleksandr, but I prefer it as a feminine name. I appreciate its modernity, it makes Oleksa stand out.
It reminds me of Alexa so I read it as a female name, but I come from an English-speaking country where most names that end in A are feminine.

It's a stunning name. In my opinion, it sounds more feminine because of the '-a' ending, but I could definitely picture a male having this name too.
I prefer Oleksiy, but it's because I'm not used to end "a" for men. Besides that, I think it's pretty.
