Gay
Dick
Shinku and Kanaria: from Rozen Maiden
Mostly various names from various story mediums that I've consumed lately. Gay and Dick will always be guilty pleasures for me, because you really can't use them today unless its for a story. Amethyst, I just like the sound.

I met an Amethyst once as well! In Florida. I was tickled pink I was so excited. We didn't talk long though. She was maybe in her 30s or 40s I believe.
Edit: I'm misremembering. It was actually Amaryllis that I am thinking of. Close in uniqueness and similarlity but no cigar.

I once met a woman named Gay. It May have been Gaye with an E, I can't remember for sure. She was born to hippies during the 1960s and it was supposed to be in association with happiness as opposed to homosexuality. I wonder what her feelings are about her name? I wonder if it has had an impact on her social views? I used to work in geriatrics and have also known a few Dicks. Interesting to see in person as they will soon be extinct I imagine. Like seeing the last Tasmanian tiger.
