[Opinions] Re: Baby Vera
Ooh, I don't like it because of a personal association. It wasn't a bad association by any means, it was just the name of a slightly kooky great aunt who wore a wig that was always askew and layered on the bright red lipstick and blue eyeshadow. She was a sweet person, but I can't hear the name without having that image. Maybe if I knew a different Vera, that would change. Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I like Aunt Vera's style.
lolShe was a good person. She had brain surgery in the 1950's, and she was never quite right, after that. She lived well into her 80's, though, and died during the pandemic (of cancer, not Covid).
Probably. It gives me film noir vibes, like Maureen. Red lipstick, dark brown hair, smoldering eyes.
That's interesting, because Maureen is a very 70's name to me. Long hair parted in the middle, bells, probably a big fan of Bread.
It peaked in 1948, so it better fits your description. Most Maureen's would be in their 20s in the 1970s.
