I think Ivy is pretty.
It's fine. A bit too nicknamey for me.
I think it's like Lily but greener - simple, evocative, has religious symbolism, not surprising to encounter for any age, sounds similar to other currently popular names.
The greenness is like Fern and Clover, but it sounds more urbane than Clover and more festive and trendy than Fern. I wonder if some people associate 'ivy league'.
I knew a millennial Ivy growing up, have a cousin named Ivy who is an older teen, and also know a gen-X Ivory "Ivy". I think it's pleasant but liked it more back when it was rarer and didn't remind me of names like Evie and Isla.

Simple and sweet, yet sassy in a good way. I think it’s a timeless type name and I also feel it would age well.
I really like it.
I love it, I've got positive associations with people/animals named Ivy, and I would use it IRL. I find it very cute and endearing. Poison ivy isn't really a thing here, and common ivy is a perfectly pleasant and unthreatening plant, about which the most accusatory thing you could say is that it maybe makes overgrown old buildings look a bit creepier.
I wouldn't use it or want it for my own name, but it's cute and pleasant. It's way better than Myrtle or Hazel, and has more personality than Daisy or Lily.

It's a name I used to like, but then I thought about it too hard.
There are so many reasons not to like it. It's oddly difficult for such a simple name!
However, I think if I met a likeable gal named Ivy, I would appreciate it and kinda like it. So I condone your liking it, even though I don't like it.
(If I didn't like her, though, I'd especially hate the name on her.)
Ivy is a little better than Hazel and about as good as Willow, IMO.
ETA: I think Ivy is currently trendy, and trends roughly with Hazel and Willow and Violet. Not a flash in the pan. But I think it'll peak slowly, and be going out of style in the 30s, slowly.

Don't like it at all
As a name, it's OK. But as the name of, probably, the world's most annoying plant, I'd avoid it at all costs. And so, I'm sure, will anyone who has had to try and remove it ...
I wholeheartedly agree with you that it’s a testy plant! But maybe it’s endurance can be a positive attribute to the name?
I love Ivy and it’s still not an overused plant name here.

Beautiful plant and beautiful name. Glad to see it's becoming a more common name option.
I love Ivy! I think it's intelligent and eccentric while still being familiar.
