[Opinions] Help me name my 2 new fish
I recently got two new bottom feeders for my Betta tank. They are Black Kuhli Loaches, a bit eel-like in appearance and movement. As a result, I was considering naming them Flotsam and Jetsam, like Ursula's minions in The Little Mermaid. That doesn’t seem very fair, though—if their roommate gets three names (four if you count his nickname), it would feel like showing favoritism. I know they’re just fish and don’t really care, but I’m sure they can still pick up the vibes I’m giving off. With that in mind, I’d love some help coming up with complimentary names for them. One is younger, smaller, and a bit more nimble, while the other is older, larger, and has a scar on his side. I’d like names that align with those of my other two pets:The cat: Rosamund Opal Essence (“Rose” for short). Rosamund was chosen because it’s elegant and stately, but also a bit starchy. Opal Essence is an altered version of Rarity’s cat’s name from My Little Pony. The betta: Balerion Ecclesiastes Snuffleupagus (“Baby Blue” for short). Balerion is after the Black Dread in House of the Dragon because he has a dragon-like appearance. Ecclesiastes is a nod to my overly fundamentalist and weird religious roots. Snuffleupagus adds a touch of whimsy, fun, and silliness. Baby blue is after a touching video I once watched on YouTube about a late bird named baby blue mourned by his mate. Based on these ideas, what names would you pick for the two new fish? Please rate my "Names I would Use" list & "Backup Favorites" list. Feel free to rate some of my other lists too if you have the time.

FINlay and GILbert would give them nice fishy nicknames.
I actually did have two fish named Finnegan "Fin" and Gilbert "Gil" when I was a little girl! 🤣
