[Facts] Which event boosted the name Branch after 2010?
The given name Branch was newly added to this site and I inspected its frequency curve, seeing an unexpected peak after 2010. What is the reason for this peak?

Probably the ‘Trolls’ films and TV shows, since the deuteragonist’s name is Branch, who is voiced by Justin Timberlake.

Good idea, but the name was already on the rise in 2014 and 2015 while the films and TV series came out in mid-2016. Was there enough marketing before the release of the films to explain this, or was there another factor?

There was a deputy sheriff character named Branch Connally (played by actor Bailey Chase) on the modern Western mystery series "Longmire", based on a series of mystery novels by Craig Johnson. This show premiered on June 3, 2012, so there's a good chance it had something to do with this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longmire_(TV_series)

That's the one that came to my mind. It wouldn't surprise me if it inspired the Trolls character name.
