[Opinions] Names from a comments section
I came across a tiktok talking about names that ‘are easy to spell and won’t sound dumb in 15 years’. Many people were sharing the names of their own kids/siblings in the comments section. Not all of them were necessarily saying that the names applied to the brief, though most were claiming that. Which of these do you like? Which ones do you agree are ‘easy to spell and won’t sound dumb in 15 years’?

Sofiya, Giuliana, Theia, Ebeneser, and Giovanni are unintuitively spelled for me. Won't Sofiya be mistaken for Sofia and Ebeneser mistaken for Ebenezer? Zuko and Aizen seem cool, but I've never heard of them until today. I can see most of these names still holding up though, like Josephine, James, Chloe, Philippe, Lincoln, Micheal, Belle, William, Eric, Noah, Sophia, Emilia, Olivia, Raphael, Owen, Evander and Diana.I'm unsure about Indica and Alexi because they are not very common. I do like Indica, though.I can see Brady, Waylon, Juniper, Poppy, Atlas, and Emmie falling out of favor eventually.
I notice you spelled Micheal differently (it was Michael in the original post). I guess that illustrates it's not easy to spell. :)

XD I legitimately didn't know that Micheala was where McKayla was from. I said Micheal-a for years and no one corrected me...

Weird mix of names. Some of them already seem dated to me (I assume that's what they mean by "dumb in 15 years"?) like Brady, Cassidy, Paige - Eric, Jacob, Chris as well but less so since they're more classic. I don't think those sound dumb, although I dislike Brady and Jacob. Most of the names seem ok, but I think the only one I'd like enough to use is Raphael. My favorites beyond that are Sophia, Phoebe, Juniper. I like Ebenezer, but it seems curmudgeonly (does that make it dumb? idk), and the S seems like an alt spelling. Indica would be interesting to see used. For the most part, I think people in my area could correctly guess the spellings, though I have some doubts about Poppy, Paige, Emmie, Keira, Indica, Raphael, Alexi, Waylon, Atlas, and Giovanni.I definitely would not expect people to guess these spellings:
Giuliana
Sofiya
Layla
Theia
Aizen
Ebeneser
Philippe

People live longer than fifteen years so that is weird and random that they'd say that. Do they think the world will end? How about "won't sound dumb, EVER"?
I think these names don't and won't sound dumb.
Exception for Indica, which ... well, I wouldn't say it sounds dumb, but it doesn't exactly sound nondumb.
And it's relative ... some sound less nondumb than others.
Some people might think Zuko sounds dumb but I think it's pretty cute.
Also I like to see Mavis.
I kinda see some appeal to Atlas, but I think in real life it's not so great. Just sounds too much like *** and like words ending in -less.

I've come to notice that future time frames in posts like this tend to be arbitrarily in nature as opposed to concrete. It makes no difference weather 5 or 15 or 50 as much as it is a number to draw engagement. To never sound dumb feels almost unrealistic and indeterminate of a thing to explore to be honest, because it's harder to speculate Indefinite time-frames.
Names that may not be easy to spellEbeneser ( already misspelled)
Zuko
Aizen
Indica
Kiera (or Keira, Kira)
Theia (or Thea)
oh wow, I misspelled Kiera (as Keira) even when I was looking at it.I was thinking Zuko seems pretty simple even if not familiar, but I guess someone could think it was Zooko...
