[Opinions] Thoughts on Duncan?
Thoughts on Duncan? Should it be more popular, perhaps?

I know two Duncan’s! Both in their early twenties.
I really like the name and I could even see myself using it for my son if my SO loved it.

I like it, although it sounds dorky and medieval to me in the same way as Roland.
I met someone a few months ago with this as a middle name(first name Drake). It isn’t my thing.
I have known one man called Duncan who will now be around 50 years old and one who came into my workplace who would be around 10 years old. I would love to meet a few more little Duncan’s but as it was popular here in the 70s and 80s it is still viewed mostly as a parent name with a few grandparents also called Duncan now. As a result it’s not quite ready for a full comeback yet.
I like it; I like most Scottish names. Don't think I'd ever use it, but I'd like to meet more Duncan people.
I don't know that it should be more popular, but I do think that when it is used, it's cool.
It has a heavy, clunky, clumsy sound to it, and in the US it's very associated with Dunkin (formerly called Dunkin Donut) and Duncan Hines cake mixes and dunking things in general.
I agree
Dunkin Donuts
I like the name a lot. I wouldn't mind it being more popular since I don't plan on using it in real life.
Don't really like it
Oh, I love it. I think Duncan is really sweet. It's so cuddly. I think it should be more beloved, absolutely.
Duncan doesn't really do anything for me. Not a fan.
