[Opinions] Rachel, Alison and Raquel
Replies
Rachel is one of my favorite names. I also enjoy Raquel. Allison/Alison is not my favorite, but it’s alright,
I was going to say it's wild that they can't remember a name as common as Rebecca, but then I realized it's actually rare for Rebeccas to go by Rebecca. I think almost every Rebecca I've ever known has a nickname. Becca, Becky, Bex, etc.
I quite like Rachel for other people. Wouldn't consider it myself. Raquel is not used where I live, so I can't comment.
I love both Alison and Alice, and would gladly have used either, but DH had unfortunate associations with his stepmother's mentally challenged sister, who had a crush on his father and used to hover outside the bathroom door until he came out! I don't like Allison, though I am very fond of the two Allison people I know well.
Now I'm trying to find common ground between these three names, but no luck so far - I still can't guess your name!

I think all three are decent enough names but they do give me different vibes.
1 Alison - a wholesome girl-next-door with VA sunny disposition.
2 Rachel - a serious & bookish individual who worries a lot.
3 Raquel - outgoing, exotic & sexy (eg. Raquel Welch)

My favorite is Alison(I do prefer Alice). I like Rachel, and Raquel isn’t my thing.
I like them all; Allison/Alison is one I might once have used. Raquel is very glamorous and a bit flashy. Rachel is warm and friendly.
