Two syllable "L" names ending in "a" are quite popular now (eg.
Lana,
Lara,
Leila,
Layla,
Leah,
Lena,
Lila,
Lola,
Luna,
Lyra etc...).
Leda is part of this trend but she's not as well known as the others I mentioned. I would say
Leda is an undiscovered gem at present. How long that lasts is anyone's guess. I like the name - it sounds and looks nice. The meaning is unknown and the Greek mythological story is a bit strange but it's not a deal breaker. Pronunciation may be an issue as "LEE-da", "LEH-da" and "LAY-da" are all acceptable. If someone loves a name, they shouldn't worry about that either.
