[Opinions] Xavia
The name Xavia popped into my head today - mostly because the song by The Submarines randomly popped into my head: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XV6ur3-ObNcI probably haven't thought about the song, even, since the last time I saw Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, which was ages ago. But, now I'm thinking about the name.In the song, it's pronounced eg-ZAY-vee-uh (like Xavier is often pronounced ex-ZAY-vyer, in the U.S. at least), but would you pronounce it that way? Or would you just say ZAY-vee-uh? What do you think of the name in general?***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381

Genuinely horrible. Like a stevia-like sweetener you put in your miserable black coffee. Or an ingredient in sugar-free gum.

I think that it's very gorgeous, even if I do prefer Xavier for a boy!
I like it, it's pretty and modern without trying too hard. I pronounce it ZAY-vee-uh.
Does it actually exist as a name in the wild? I'd say Zavia, because the ek-ZAY-vee-a version of Xavier drives me up the nearest wall. I don't like it: don't like Xavier either, and both sound like or close to Saviour, which doesn't help.
I instinctively said ZAH-vee-yah like a weirdo.
Don't like it at all, zav ee a

It looks like a name that the lazy writers of a 1960s sitcom set in the distant future would use for a female character.
I think Xavia is pretty.I pronounce all names beginning with "X" with "Z" so it would be "ZAY-vee-uh" for me.
