F: Gulşîn
M: Gowon
Feminine: Gaynor, Geertje
Masculine: Gaylord, Gwilym
Unisex: Gwyn, Glaucia
Glaucia just rolls off the tongue.
Garlanda
GuildfordGuiomar
F: Gugulethu (only in the sense that I have no ties to the culture in which the name is used)
M: Gamaliel
Gugulethu is the name of a Cape Town suburb, cynically named by the apartheid government. Far from being an expression of pride and possession, it was a segregated area for black Africans only, and they had no choice at all. There are two other, similar suburbs adjacent to it, named respectively Langa (Sun) and Nyanga (Moon): a lot of people guessed that Gugulethu probably meant Stars, but it doesn't.
Wow, I had no idea! I just know it as the full name of actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
Gentian has such a nice meaning and would go great with other plant names!
Gemma, Galadriel, Garland, Giselle, Gaspard, Gus
