I have no idea how Owen got to #18 in the United States. Not only does it sound ugly, it also feels so elderly - I can't imagine a baby Owen. What contributed to its popularity? I'm baffled to see it rank so high.
For girls - Zoey. I do not see the appeal of that spelling at all. What's wrong with Zoe? Does anyone genuinely think Zoey looks better or is more intuitive? It's #45.
