Kai: Great name. Short, simple, sweet.
Maximilian "Max": A very good, professional name to fall back on in case he hates Max. I happen to really like Max, though.
Judah: Judas sounds more finished. Or Judiah, if one insists on using a Jude name. Or why not just Jude? Jude is a good name, too.
Angus: Unattractive. Also, angus beef. Its good meat, but that's irrelevant.
Aaliyah: I know it's the original Arabic spelling but... Too many A's. Any other spelling would be better. Aliyah, Alia, Alea, Aleah, Aliya, etc.
Noemi: Naomi is better, although they both sound like a mash of syllables.

Fully agree with you on Aaliyah being the worst spelling, especially if the person isn't Arabic!

Kai is a decent name for a boy.
Maximilian "Max" is very handsome, but also very long if that bothers you.
I dislike the name Judah. I'd prefer Judith or Judy (on a girl) instead.
Angus is a handsome and attractive name; I think it's a wonderful choice.
Aaliyah is the most common variant of this name, and I do find it beautiful. However, I definitely prefer the spelling Aleah.
Noemi sounds pretty, but I don't care for it very much; I much prefer Naomi.

Kai: fine if you're German
Max: all right I suppose, but Maximilian is a mouthful. In spite of the silver hammer, I'd use Maxwell.
Judah: geographical and biblical = two big No votes
Angus: delightful; might turn into Gus but need not.
Aaliyah: unattractive spelling; I'd prefer Leah.
Noemi: No, Amy? Uncomfortable and unnecessary spelling in an English context. Naomi is preferable.

Kai - multi usage, short, simple, sharp but approachable
Maximilian - uncommon, but Max is more common and down to earth. Kind of reminds me of Sebastian and it would be nice if it was more popular
Aaliyah - underrated and beautiful in my opinion, ethereal almost, prefer Aliyah though
Judah - too biblical? Jude is ok though
Angus - I’m only reminded of the cattle breed unfortunately
Noemi - prefer Naomi. I don’t think I’d even pronounce Noemi correctly
