How do you pronounce it?
If it’s Vay-Ana, then I don’t like it. But Vi-Ana is pretty, tho I’d remove the first a to make it Viana.

I feel like Viana would be pronounced differently—more like Liana or Rhianna. I think the first A is necessary to get the correct pronunciation.

Oh I see. Yeah, I don’t pronounce Vaiana that way in my head, I hear “vay-ana”.
“Vie-anna” to me would be Vianna and “Vie-ana” is Viana.
“Vie-anna” to me would be Vianna and “Vie-ana” is Viana.
I think Diana is the only name that can do that. Everything else _iana would be _ee-ana.

Yeah, for some reason when you take out the first a, my mind switches to "vee".
