It's because Timberleigh and Makynzee belong to identifiable trends (-ley endings and kre8tiv spellings, respectively).
Aurora and
Penelope are a modern/popular names, but they don’t necessarily belong to a particular trend. So I guess that's the difference between trendy and popular.
I've been on this site for a long time and have loved Aubriella,
Ariella,
Lilliana, and
Sapphire before they started climbing the charts, so to see those on the rise is exciting for me. I also love
Aurora.
I do not like
Ainsley,
Everly,
Harper,
Kinsley,
Oakley,
Palmer,
Penelope,
Piper,
Salem,
Sawyer, or
Sutton.
