Examples include Amy, Angela, and Christina, all of which were names in the top 100 in the 1970s and 1979s and also peaked at this time. (Sorry for the late reply)

Amy sounds a little modern but it is very much classic as well. I always firstly think of the Little Women character, written in 1868. (Though Amy was always my least favorite March sister so that's why I never forget her.

Christina goes surprisingly far back. I had several different ancestors named it. Checking my account, I see the furthest back one was born November 18th 1570 in Switzerland. The other direct female ancestors being born in 1727 and 1750, respectively. Also a few Christine's and Christiana's far back as well.
