I really like the idea of (fn) Rosamund (ln) Pink/Pinkerton nn Rosie-Pink…for a daughter, character, fairy or cat idk lol

Rosie Pink sounds kind of childish, like the name of a book series for small children. I do think Rosie is cute, but adding Pink to it makes it too cutesy. I don't really like Pink on its own. There are better color names with better associations (Blue, Gray, Violet, and Green in my case).

Naming someone after the Pinkertons is dark as hell. The fact that it could be shortened to "Pink" makes it even more sinister and messed up, like trying to give the KGB a cute makeover.
So that's interesting! Rosamund Pinkerton aka Rosie Pink would be a superb name for someone who may seem sweet as pie and respectable but is actually someone who will do anything for the right price, that kind of thing.
If you wanted to keep things genuinely cute I'd go with something like Rosamund "Rosie" Pinks, after the flowers (dianthus, aka "pinks").

Hmm I didn’t know there was a common association with the ln Pinkerton? Who/what are they?
Well, when I see "Pinkerton", the Pinkertons are the first thing that spring to mind! They were sort of the precursor to the Secret Service in America, used by the government and other powerful people. Famously used to prevent workers from trying to form unions in the late 19th and early 20th century. They rebranded as a simple security company now, but the name still puts me in mind of a ruthless old-timey mercenary type.
Rosie Pink is like the name for a 1950s shade of paint. Rosamond is one of my all-time favourites, and Rosie would do as a nn until she was old enough not to need one. Pinkerton ... not a bad surname, but Rosie-Pink would get very old very quickly. A combination to avoid.
Ok for a pet or my little pony
Was also thinking of a My Little Pony, a pink one with roses on the butt!
Lol it really does sound like a My Little Pony :D
I also thought it would suit a bunny really well

Sounds very much like a fairy or pony name.
I thought the same thing. It reminded me of My Little Pony.
Yesss, it's one of my favorite shows!
that kind of nn feels kind of forced, or overly posh. Years and years ago I read a book where the main character was named Rosalie (I think) and had an affair with a much older, very rich, very upper-class married man. I can't remember if he was British or not but he had some speech mannerisms that seemed like he might be, or might be trying to act like it. One of the more anoying ones was he called Pink or Pinklington.
So Rosie Pink is very silly to me.
